We have over 34 kilometres of magnificent coastline. Our region is currently experiencing a population explosion, the number of residents within the Division is projected to increase from 96,097 to 143,557 from 2000 through 2010, growth of 49%. Current population estimates are approx 115,000 of which 2% are of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander origin. Population growth in the southern metropolitan corridor can be observed with extensive new housing developments in Baldivis, Wellard and all the way to Mandurah along the new Perth to Mandurah rail link. Rockingham Kwinana Division of General Practice (RKDGP) is a key stakeholder in the development of health services and systems though General Practice.
