Monday - Friday 7pm - 10pm

Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays 1pm - 9pm

An After Hours GP Clinic, supporting the Rockingham Kwinana Hospital Emergency Department, for patients who can not wait until the next day to see their usual Doctors.

About Us:

  1. Rockingham Kwinana After Hours GP Clinic is a GP service provided to the community as a joint venture with the State Government and the Rockingham Kwinana Division of General Practice.
  2. The Primary aim of the GP Clinic is to support the Emergency Dept. at RKDH, and the community by offering a GP service for patients who are unwell or have minor injury and in whom care is necessary prior to the next day.
  3. The service is no way is structured to take the place of patients own doctors. Patients requiring non-urgent care should see their own doctors.
  4. With the patients permission all medical records and or test results are faxed to the patients usual GP for continuity of care.
  5. The After Hours Clinic is staffed each shift by a Doctor, Registered Nurse and Receptionist.

How to see Us:

Appointments can only be made at the commencement of each session:

  1. You can ring for an appointment on 08 9599 4880 during opening hours
  2. You can walk in and make an appointment after opening hours. Patients have the option to leave the clinic and return prior to their appointment.
  3. Health Direct telephone (1800 022 222) service may refer you to us. An appointment is still required.
  4. You may be referred from the Rockingham Emergency Department. An appointment will be given.

The After Hours Clinic may be booked out on occasions, however you still have the option of attending the Rockingham Kwinana Hospital Emergency Department.

Billing

  1. All concession card holders and children under 16yrs are bulk billed. All other patients are billed privately and are expected to pay at the end of the visit.
  2. Cash or credit card is accepted.
